About N.C.Therapy
N.C.Therapy is a private paediatric practice founded in 2019 by Nicole Conradie, a passionate Occupational Therapist from South Africa.
N.C.Therapy has now grown into a small team of Occupational Therapists trainined in Sensory Integration. We believe in the need for a holistic approach to support a child's needs by coordinating specialist assessment and individualized therapy for every child and their family.
Seeing the child holistically
N.C.Therapy strongly believes in a holistic approach when supporting a child's needs. As all children are unique, N.C.Therapy strives to deliver therapy which is unique and tailored to the individual. Personalized therapy extends beyond the therapy session, that is why educating and empowering parents, teachers and the children themselves is key to enhancing the therapeutic process.
N.C.Therapy works closely with other professionals whom may enhance the services required at different times of your child's therapy. These professionals include Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists and Floortime Therapists.
Therapy Process
The therapeutic process aims to provide a family centred, goal directed service which will focus on promoting age appropriate development through individualized activities.
Therapy can be delivered within the fully equipped therapy room as well as within your child's home or school environment to optimize integration of skills into their everyday environments. N.C.Therapy has a therapy room equipped with specialized sensory equipment based in South East London.
Following an assessment, therapy may involve individual sessions or advice provided to families and schools, through consultations, school programs, school visits and home programs.
